Human Resources Generalist

Immediate opening for a Human Resources Generalist. This position will be responsible for benefit administration, AAP/EEO reporting, general HR activities, and will be using databases for statistical analysis of all Human Resource metrics. Responsibilities are:

  • Maintains employee enrollment with all benefits plans: medical, dental, life, Cafeteria Flex 125, Aflac, LTD, and COBRA.
  • Assist with the administration of Company 401(k) Plan: distributions, loan requests, rollovers, statement analysis, employee problems and inquiries.
  • Under general supervision applies knowledge of benefits administration, policies and procedures, wage and hour regulations as applied to employee population.
  • Assist with the administration of worker’s compensation claims.
  • Responsible for administration of all employee LOAs.
  • Accurately analyze and interpret Affirmation Action regulations and maintain database to generate AAP/EEO reports for compliance and management analysis.
  • Apply knowledge of state and federal regulations, wage and hour law, benefits, and policies and procedures to general employee population
  • May assist with training general population on policies, procedures and safety.
  • May assist with planning and scheduling company employee activities.
  • Assist with compensation administration
  • Assist in the day-to-day administration of all facets of Human Resources functions
Our ideal candidate will have a BS/BA degree or equivalent combination of business experience and education; 3-5 years experience in Human Resources with working knowledge in Human Resources related laws, policies, practices and procedures; MS Office skills including Access; strong interpersonal and communication skills; and the ability to work independently. Prior experience in ADP/HR Profile will be a plus. Bilingual preferred.
