Tri-Star Electronics is a world leader in the design and manufacturing of round wire cable harness assemblies. We feel that leadership stems from two important aspects: cost effective production of quality cable assemblies.

Tri-Star is vertically integrated from design and development through production, ensuring we have ultimate control over both quality and delivery.

We have tried to set the industry standard in the production of both standard and custom avionic cable assemblies. A few important points:

Facility. Tri-Star's main cable assembly is conducted in an 80,000 sq. ft. facility in Southern California, with a labor force of 325 employees working two shifts.

Materials Management. We use a responsive, comprehensive base of qualified suppliers, with full-lot traceability at all levels. Another key tool is our integrated inventory management system, part of our Oracle ERP system.

Extensive Stock Inventory. We maintain this for wire, cable and shrink materials, plus avionic Mil hardware. Having stock on hand allows us to deliver excellent response time.

Connectors. We can use a variety of connectors, including BACC and Mil Spec, ARINC 404 & 600 and Coax/D-Subs/phone plugs.

Tri-Star Connectors. We also use the line of Tri-Star connectors, such as CQ, CB, CLP, and CPT.

Processing & Testing. We provide every aspect along the way, from tooling design and fabrication to CNC and screw machining, heat-treating, potting and encapsulation and automated electrical testing.

Manufacturing/ Quality Specs. FAA Approved - 137 PMA approved parts, Boeing D1- 9000 Rev A, and ISO-9001 registered.
